Amazon.com is famous for taking advantage of every opportunity to increase their sales, and they don’t shy away from getting their customers involved to achieve their goal. Amazon.com’s aStore was an innovative service for affiliate marketers to promote Amazon products and get paid in the process. But I guess Amazon wants to approach its existing customers with a different angle by offering its WebStore Service to them for 30 days free of charge. An ongoing fee will be incurred by those who decide to stay with Amazon Webstore service. With WebStore you get your own branded eCommerce site backed by the support, selection and expertise of Amazon to power your online business. That’s the good news. The bad news is that many people feel that they can sell millions of items if they have the capability and the website to do so. However, once they get their own site, they have no clue how to generate sales, and this could be a break dealer for most of them. Obviously the 30 days free of charge trial would give them some time to try the system out, but if I were Amazon, I would give users 60 days for free to let the cream of the crop come to the top. Either way, this is a very interesting feature by always innovative Amazon.
