If you are a SunRocket customer, and you still haven’t decided what to do, you have a couple of options. You can either sign up for another voice over IP company or go with one of those bundle deals from Comcast, Verizon, or better yet EarthLink. If you still prefer to sign up for a voice-over-ip company, here are your options:
1. Vonage: Vonage is the No. 1 pure Voice over IP provider in the nation. However, it seems it is close to bankruptcy after legal troubles with Verizon.
2. Teleblend: A SunRocket Wanna’be that you definitely shouldn’t trust. They just started a couple of weeks ago.
3. Packet 8: Packet 8 is a respectable voice/video over IP company. It’s prices are close to what SunRocket used to offer, but your existing gizmo is not compatible with this service.
4. ViaTalk: ViaTalk VoIP Phone service is the only VoIP service that its offer comes close to that of SunRocket. ViaTalk gives you two phone lines + a bunch of other features for $199 a year. While they are not as big as SunRocket was, they have been in business for a while. They are associated with HostRocket Inc, which does help a little.
5. VoIP.com: VoIP.com is another VoIP company that you may want to consider now that SunRocket has set. VoIP.com has similar plans to abov providers, but they give you unlimited calls for $19.99 a month whereas Vonage gives you that for $24. They also have received good reviews from numerous sources, so you may want to give these guys a shot.
