iPhone is finally coming out at the end of this month. As many of you know, iPhone is supposed to be a revolutionary mobile business and entertainment center. It offers features that are not yet seen in other devices. Best of all, it integrates an iPod (4GB or 8GB) in the device. However, many, including yours truly, believe that Apple iPhone is overhyped. For instance, this supposedly revolutionary device does not allow you to tamper with software that is installed on the device. In addition, the device does not come with a GPS or GPS capability through Google. But the real turn off for me is the high price that people are talking about. Paying $500 for a 4 GB version of iPhone and signing up for a 2 year contract with AT&T (Cingular), which is by the way terrible in my area, is not simply worth it. You can buy a very good PC or a decent laptop for that price. Of course, geeks being geeks will buy this to satisfy their curiosity. But, for the non-geek nation, this device is too expensive and not really necessary! I guess you can always listen to the ING DIRECT commercial guy and save your money to “feel better over a longer period of time.”

Every Apple product is not overrated, because they are overrated.
