The match was an exhibition called the battle of surfaces. The court was half clay and half grass and cost millions to make. How insane is that. It doesn’t matter who is playing on the court as the clay player will always win. But that’s not why Nadal won. The players switched sides often during the match, but Federer again choked in the final set tie-break, even though he was leading 4-2.
