Federer Loses In the First Round To Canas

Roger Federer lost in his first match in Pan Pacific Open in straight sets to Canas. Roger never hit the top gear and Canas outplayed Federer throughout the match to knockout the defending champion in the first hurdle. No, it wasn’t even close. 7-5, 6-2 with 4 breaks of serve for Canas was not what everybody was expecting. It seems Roger has spent more time in front of camera than on the courts as he seriously looked out of ideas. His foot hurt, and his mind not really into it, that was a recipe for disaster. Pan Pacific Open got a lot more interesting now as anyone can win it. That’s what happens when a lucky loser (Canas) beats the 10 times Grand Slam Champion and the World Number 1.
