Weblo.com: Innovation in a Digital Economy
Weblo.com is one of the few virtual community sites that are changing and shaping the way we thought about economics today. Weblo.com is a Virtual World where members get paid while building pages and profiles on their favorite people, cities, states and internet domain names. Weblo is a replica of the real world – part game, part community and all fun. Weblo Members add videos, photos, news, blogs and build networks of people around their pages and all they own. The more traffic you get, the more popular your pages; the more popular pages earn more money for the member that owns them. Weblo Members get paid for doing what they already do on the net. Based on real world currency, Weblo puts every address, domain, property, or company on the planet for sale in the Weblo Virtual World. The entire planet is available for people to purchase, build, manage or sell. So whether you want to be mayor or a governor or the president of the United States, you can do it on Weblo. It is Free to Join. Here is a link to get $5.00 free just to get started.
Do You Need Apple TV?

The Apple TV is an example of a product that might not change the way you live your life like an iPod does, but Apple’s marketing strategy goes on to show that you don’t have to have the best product in the market, but rather you have to market your product better than everybody else and show the customers what makes you different. Apple TV is Apple’s latest strategy to bring a comprehensive digital entertainment experience to the consumers’ homes. Apple TV allows users to take advantage of their digital content on iTunes and transfer those to Apple TV to watch on a HDTV. Of course, the main limitation of Apple TV is its 40GB hard-drive. But sites are now reporting that you can replace the 2.5 inch hard-drive inside with a 160 GB one. Apple TV is a great way to add another digital entertainment (DE) dimension to your already rich DE options. However, for the price of $299 + tax (if you buy from Mac store), I would question the need for the Apple TV. I understand that some people would love to watch digital content on their laptops and download the latest trailers consistently. However, if you are not using iTunes extensively, then your Apple TV is going to be another gorgerous electronics that is not much useful at all. I do admire Apple a lot; Howevver, they are famous for creating products that are shiny and make you want to buy them, sometimes even when you don’t need them at all. If you do have a good use for Apple TV, which I am sure many Mac fans do, then it’s a great product. However, if you really don’t deal with iTunes and all that then save your money, for iPhone that is.
Tennis: So much for Federer’s revenge Against Canas
Federer lost for the second straight time to a guy who could as well be on drugs right now. Canas outlasted, but not outplayed, Federer in their 2nd match in 2 weeks to stun the world No. 1. On a personal note, I am getting tired of shaky wins by the Fed and disasterous results against mediocre player. How is it that Canas can’t beat a former good player such as Moya, but he dominates Federer. Was Sampras as dominant as Federer? Maybe not. But, I never watched a Sampras match expecting him to lose just because. With Federer, you do get the feeling that Canas and Nadal are in his heads. Djokovic is a much better player than Canas, but Federer doesn’t have a problem with him. But, Murray and Canas are going to be dealing Mr. Federer most of his losses this year. Is either of them better than Federer? They wish! But, they are more consistent. Federer has apparently stopped practicing Tennis for Golf. Federer players like a God for one set, as he did against Canas, and plays like a world No. 100 for the next two. It has been enough the last few years, but it’s not working against Canas. Federer’s opponents are figuring that out as well. Federer worked so hard to take the first set from Nadal in their last matchup in Shanghai, but then played a godawful game, dropping it to love. Against Canas, he was leading 3-0 in the decisive set, and it is still baffling to me that he lost this huge lead to a player who could barely walk in the third set. Federer fans, I do not think Federer will have the consistency to win the French Open this year or the next or the year after that. The sad part is that Sampras didn’t have the game, but Federer doesn’t have the heart.

Amazon’s Contextual Text Beta
Amazon.com has released its contextual text advertising system to help publishers earn more money from their effort. The way Amazon’s contexual advertising works is that one needs to install them on their website’s template before the </body> tag, and based on the keywords used on each page, Amazon will highlight a word or two within a page and show a related product. Here is for more details.
