People in the Corporate America talk about the necessity of being honest with employees and staff in corporations, but the truth is that corporate America thrives on dishonesty. It’s not that people do not lie in corporate America as everybody does that. But, the issue that I have with the whole situation is when people lie when they don’t have to lie. In other words, instead of picking and choosing situations to lie under, corporates now lie under most situations. It’s just become a cultural thing for them. If you go to these recruiting events that are going on around the nation, you would expect to meet recruiters who are willing to discuss and talk with you about the people they are expecting to hire. However, they simply direct you to an online portal where you can’t interact with a human being. As someone who has hired and been hired numerous times, I admire honesty. If you think I am not you guy, why not tell me that and help me get there, instead of turning me away, not letting me know what I need to do to get to where I want to get. What do you think?
