SunRocket Internet Phone Service: Still The Best

SunRocket, Inc.

SunRocket Internet Phone Service is still the lowest VoIP provider in the nation. Sure, there is Vonage and Packet8 which are trying to differentiate themselves by their brand or features that they offer, but SunRocket simply offers prices and features that cannot be matched by their rivals. Here is more detail:

* Unlimited calling – U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico
* Free international minutes ($3.00 credit every month)
* Enhanced Emergency 911 Service
* Over 12 built-in calling features, including Caller ID, 3-way Calling, Enhanced Voicemail, and much more
* Two free Directory Assistance calls each month
* No hidden fees
* No cancellation fees
* 31 day money back guarantee
* Option to add an extra phone number for $3 per month

So, how’s the call quality? It’s better than I expected, and I expected a lot. I have been a SunRocket customer for 6 months now, and I just love my service. Best of all, I don’t have to worry about that monthly bill anymore. I paid $199, and now can forget it for another year.

Smart Cars Are On the Way: A Glimpse at LS 460L

LS 460L is not your everyday average car. Well, come to think of it, Lexus is not really your average car as it is a luxury brand. However, LS 460L is one step in the right direction towards a future with auto-drive capable cars. LS 460L is able to Parallel park itself, which is going to be a huge help for someone like me who can’t put a car in a truck’s space. It supposedly uses sensors to figure out what angles to take and if you do everything right, you should be able to part the car without actually doing much. LS 460L does not drive itself, but how far are we from that moment? With all the advancements in Wireless technology and with the use of satellite systems, we should be able to make cars that communicate with each other, reducing the annual number of accidents remarkably. The car is supposed to be going for $80K+. Is it worth it? Not really for that feature only, but if you have the money, this car is a must have. I wonder if we are going to see cars that will park themselves without me having to be inside them!

Al Gore Wins An Oscar. Leads The Presidential Race

For the first time in many years, I hope I am wrong. Something tells me that Al Gore is going to run for the presidency of the United States after he won an Oscar last night. Al Gore has used the issue of Global Warming to his advantage and has become rather popular in the U.S. Of course, he wouldn’t want to go against Hilary Clinton as the She-Devil will do anything, including skinning her own husband, to get the job. She wants to be the first lady to become the president of the U.S. She wants to one up Nancy. Are we going to have the first man in the history of the U.S.? Clinton goes from President to First Man? I hope Obama wins as I think it’s his time and the issue of racism is much more serious than sexism. Women will be presidents someday, but anyone but Hilary. I’ll take Rice!

Dishonesty In Corporate America

People in the Corporate America talk about the necessity of being honest with employees and staff in corporations, but the truth is that corporate America thrives on dishonesty. It’s not that people do not lie in corporate America as everybody does that. But, the issue that I have with the whole situation is when people lie when they don’t have to lie. In other words, instead of picking and choosing situations to lie under, corporates now lie under most situations. It’s just become a cultural thing for them. If you go to these recruiting events that are going on around the nation, you would expect to meet recruiters who are willing to discuss and talk with you about the people they are expecting to hire. However, they simply direct you to an online portal where you can’t interact with a human being. As someone who has hired and been hired numerous times, I admire honesty. If you think I am not you guy, why not tell me that and help me get there, instead of turning me away, not letting me know what I need to do to get to where I want to get. What do you think? Tell us about your experiences with dishonesty in corporate America.

Andy vs. Andy V

Andy Roddick and Andy Murray will go at it again tonight for the right to play who seems to be Haas as he is leading Mardy fish by a set and a break. Roddick lost to Murray in straights last week, so it’d be a real surprise to see anything other than a victory for Murray this week unless Roddick learns how to play tennis in one day from last night.

WordPress Updates: Security Problems

Wordpress has just released Wordpress 2.0.9 and 2.1.1 as they are trying to patch up the security issues that earlier versions are suffering from. I happen to have a site that is running on an earlier version of Wordpress, and for some reason people have found a way to automatically post a millions of bogus comments to it. I do have the security plugins available on my site, but it’s just not working. So, my take on this is that you need to update yesterday in order to avoid yourself and your site a lot of pain.

Andy Murray: OverHyped?

Andy Murray is definitely on the rise. There is no question about that. But, I am surprised on how British Analysts make meals out of his small victories. Murray beats Roddick, and they claim that he is better than Andy Roddick now. Well, guess what? There are many players who can beat Roddick consistently, and those are people who can return his serve. But, what I was more surprised about was when he lost to Nadal at the Australian Open, and analysts claimed that he was now the second best player in the world! Wait a second! He lost, and he is a better player than Nadal? I think Murray is talented and might win Grandslams someday, but I see him as the next Hewitt. People going to have trouble with his game for a while, but then he will be figured out. It’s as simple as that. There is no guaranteed formula in tennis, and if you rely on a style of game and hardwork, instead of Genius like Federer, then people will find a way to break you. It might take time, but it will happen. Roddick, however, is definitely on the down side. He should know by now that his dream of capturing No. 1 position is next to impossible. I guess there is always No. 2 or No. 3 to fight for. Tough Luck!

World Chess: Did Topalov Cheat?

There have been a lot of talks about how Kramnik cheated in the last World Chess Championship match. Now Kramnik’s camp are trying to make a bad guy out of Veslin Topalov by saying that he gets his moves from his manager!? I can’t even believe that a website such as Chessbase would go as far as posting these claims and making real stories out of this unfounded claims. Then again, this is not the first time Chessbase has done that.

SAP Tennis Open Update: Roddick Just Can’t Beat Murray!

So much for American Tennis being on the up side. Blake loses in the 2nd round and the World No. 4 loses to a teenager for the 3rd time in 4 meetings, all recent. As people start to return better and better, Roddick will be going down faster and faster. There is no two ways about it as Andy himself would say.
