NFL: Race Card Being Played Again

Another couple of American Football Games this weekend, and the race card is being played once again in the media. Many analysts are arguing that it is essential for Tony Dungy and the colts to reach the Superbowl, not because a player of Peyton Manning’s lack of a championship ring, but because Tony Dungy is black. The same thing for Chicago, though they are highly unlikely to win against the saints with a superstar as explosive and implosive as Rex Grossman.  I’d say who the heck cares about what color of skin these coaches have. Just because Tony Dungy is black, and “Billy Patriot” is white, doesn’t mean that Billy is superior to Tony in any possible way. In fact, I would take Tony over Bill any day as Bill is a rather punky person. I must admit that I would never truly appreciate the American Football as I do the European Football, but never have I watched my favorite team lose and blamed the color of the coach’s skin for that. It’s a very dangerous thing to do, and it should not be given any merit in the media. What do you think?
