Roger Federer survived a daring challenge from David Ferrer to qualify for the semis of his home-town tournament, Swiss Open. Roger dropped the very first game of the match, and if it was not because of David Ferrer’s 2 double faults in the very next game, the match would’ve been more complicated. In the second set, Federer led 4-2 at one point, but soon found himself down 4-5, and after the match got to the tie-break, Federer had to save 6 set points to clinch the match. In other matches, Nalbandian was straight set’ed by Wawrinka. Scrichapan and Gonzalez both won as well. You can watch tomorrow’s matches live here.
