Federer in Hot Water for pulling out of Paris Masters

Roger Federer pulled out of Paris Masters yesterday, and it seems French organizers are not too happy about that. Nadal, Roddick, and Ljubicic had already pulled out for dubious reasons, qualifying for Shanghai(!), so Paris organizers were counting on Roger to bring some grace to the tournament. However, Roger pulled out as even he knew that it was not wise for him to go through 3 or 4 more matches in a matter of 3 weeks. He has already played 92 matches this season already, and he has indicated in the past that he values the season-ending cup as much as a Grandslam. So, why organizers are upset with Roger? Why not with Nadal and his dubious excuse of rib injury or Ljubicic and his excuse of qualifying for Shanghai? It seems Tour De France is not the only place were the best athletes are used as scapegoats. Truly Sad!
