ATP Madrid Masters 06: Federer wins, Berdych beats Nadal Again

The ATP Madrid Masters continued today, and Roger Federer managed to win his 80th(!) match of the year by beating Ginepri in straight sets. Nadal, however, failed to move on as he fell to his nemesis Thomas Berdych in straight sets 6-3, 7-6. Nadal tried every trick in the book to try and slow down Thomas. At one point of the match, he even tried to slow down Berdych’s service games; however, he got a warning from the chair, and that was that. Nadal has now officially lost some of his invincibility aura as he has lost to Berdych, and Johanson in the past 2 weeks. Federer, now, is the clear favorite to win this year’s edition of Madrid Masters.
