The World Chess championship match up between the World champion Topalov, and the classical imposter Kramnik continued today, and Topalov’s brilliant combination left Kramnik hiding in his room for the whole day. We all know how talented Topalov is when it comes to direct attacks. However, the toilet card that he pulled two days ago with Kramnik has paid dividends today as Kramnik didn’t show up for the game at all! His lead is now cut to only 1 game, and Kramnik has lost his closest friend, his bathroom. Apparently, he used it 50 times in the last 2 games, which is by all means extreme even for somebody with stomach disease. In any case, Topalov has now scored the first win. If Kramnik shows up for the 6th game and loses it, this match is going to turn on its head. Honestly, is Kramnik mentally strong enough to survive this whole toilet fiasco. He should be, but I wouldn’t be surprised if he does lose it.
