The Absolute Limit Of The Human Body

I am sure you all have heard the news about the death of the oldest woman in the world at 116. While there have been reports about people who have lived for 120+ years, the big question still remains. Is there an absolute limit to how long a human body can sustain itself? Some claim that 150 years is the absolute limit for the human body. Now, I have heard stories that people used to live more than 150 years in some regions of the world. But, there is no proof for that. The bigger question is has technology increased that limit? I think if you look at how people like in their 80s or 90s so often, the answer would be no. Science & technology have increased the mean as more people tend to live past 70 years nowadays. But, I have not witnessed individuals who have lived 130 years because of, let’s say, medicines that they are taking. I guess the bigger question is would cloning help us break the 150 years longevity boundary.
